Control Systems Laboratory


This lab includes a number of experiments to teach students about control theory. The lab can accommodate around 18 students. One experiment per session is performed with eight experiments related to control theory in total.

 

 

Experiments :

 

  • Analogue computing and integrators.
  • First order differential equation.
  • Second order differential equation.
  • Effect of positive and negative damping.
  • Motors, tachogenerator and brake characteristics.
  • The influence of gain velocity feedback.
  • System following error.
  • Speed control system.
