Electrical Power Systems Laboratory


This lab includes a number of experiments covering the basics of power systems and power protection systems used in practice. The lab can accommodate around 18 students. One experiment per session is performed with seven experiments in total.

 

 

Experiments :

 

  • Current transformer for protective installation.
  • Voltage transformer for protective installation.
  • Single-phase Transmission Line.
  • Three-phase Transmission Line.
  • Study of over and under voltage relays.
  • Study of earth fault indication relay.
  • Study of earth fault current (directional) relay.
